Introduction.....
Welcome to Dai’s Forge, a place where
anything can happen with a piece of metal. This is a
forge that travels all over the UK doing historical
re-enactment, showing people how the blacksmith of the
time would have worked. From the Iron Age when
blacksmiths were considered as near magical people
because of their ability to change a lump of rock into
metal, to the 15th century when the
blacksmith could be producing fine decorative pieces of
armour and weaponry that would never see a battlefield
alongside the more mundane pots and pans.
We've included a couple of articles which may be of
