The museum at Bosworth has had an input of money and they are doing great things with it. They have improved their already good museum and they are now building a village. The buildings that are already there are very good and there are plans for workshops too. We know about the workshops as they have asked us if we would like to go and work in them once they are built - yes please!
Dai’s latest range of candle holders with various dragons, bulls and eagles seem to be catching everyones eye and the creation of these beasties is always a good one for the public to see.
Shame the weather was not so good, not so horrible as it should have been but not brilliant. The rain stayed away for most of the weekend but loomed ominously, but what with the wind I think it kept the public away, which was a shame as there were the normal excellent displays on both days.
The year The Free Company (the group we play with) did their ‘War of the Roses in Twenty Minutes’ piece. I hadn’t seen this before and it is very funny indeed, if you are at a show where they are doing this please go and have a good giggle, it is funny but accurate so it is even educational to boot.
Off to play with Vikings next, not been to that century before this could be an interesting one.......
