Basic Textile Skills and Knowledge for Re-Enactment/Living History
This is (hopefully) a helpful outline to basics to get you going with soft kit, aimed at the Dark Ages but skills and knowledge that will be useful for any re-enactment period (for ease I am going to use the term re-enactment for both re-enactment and Living History from now on). This is not a comprehensive list as it only includes things that I have tried for myself, I do not feel it is right to advise on things I have never had a go at.
