What We Make

If it’s made of metal we can probably do it is the easiest way of explaining it. However, we don’t claim to be experts in everything, but we certainly do our best to turn out good work.

Dai’s specialist area of knowledge is Iron Age spearheads. He has done lots of research and is able to recreate many different types and can explain the reasons for the differences.

Along with spearheads from the Iron Age we produce any period spearhead that you might want, along with javelins and arrowheads.

Basically, bring along a picture and we will see what we can do for you. One thing we did discover recently was a 15th century picture of a castle siege showing the defenders on the walls with spears that have flights like arrows, we intend to make one or two of these this year and see how they fly, should be fun, must remember to find a clear area first though….

A good knife is a must for any reenactor, you can use it for pretty much everything and we can make you any style you like in any size.

Swords, glaives, axes, you think of a weapon and we have either made one or have it on the list of things to make.

Dai started making armour last year, his own kit is his first go and very effective it is too (I know I gave him a beating with a big hammer, just quality control, honest). Some people have turned their noses up at it as it isn’t polished and shiny but it is good solid kit and we like it.

We also make things such as tripods, ladles, fire dogs, pokers, fire tongs, pot hooks, flag pole stands and all those other bits and pieces you never think about until you need them. If you think you might like something making please come and talk to us and we will see what we can do.

PLEASE NOTE while we are happy to make things for anyone who asks we will not sell weapons to members of the general public. We are quite happy to make anything else for the general public but sorry, no weaponry.
